Free .co.uk Domain Registration Offer

We love things for free at E Shops For Sale and we thought we would share the news of an initiative from GBBO that we stumbled across that offers any U.K. business a .co.uk domain name registered for two years for free!

All that is required is an account with google (if you haven’t got one already then you can set one up as part of the registratiion process), a U.K. address and phone number and e-mail address to meet registration requirements. You have the option to create a free hosted web page using Google Sites along with other Google features such as Google Maps etc. If you don’t want to use your free domain with the Google Sites option then you can alter your Name Server settings to point at a hosting package of your own and create your own e-commerce site.

With a website you’ll be able to reach new customers as people look online for information about the goods and services they want to buy. If you don’t want a website then you can still add your business to Google Maps.

We went through the process and it took no more than 5 minutes to register a domain name using an existing Google Account so it may take a little longer if you have to go through the registration process with Google but either way it is time well spent.
